Welcome!

I’m Natasha, the artist behind Berkshire Resin Art.
I make each piece by hand with natural gems I harvest here in The Berkshires. By preserving the space between death and decaya space we rarely bear witness tothis liminal space can be studied, appreciated, and worn.
Made with curiosity and joy!

About Berkshire Resin Art

Just before the pandemic hit, I moved into a new apartment with fantastic light; ladybugs, stinkbugs, and flies gathered on the floor in considerable quantities. For a few months, I swept them into the corner for a future project. I read up on how to work with resin epoxy and began harvesting flowers and mushrooms.

All year round, I harvest flowers, foliage, fungi, and found-dead insects as I explore The Berkshires. More recently I started foraging for bones in the woods and cleaning the bones from roadkill when I notice an animal doesn’t get picked up by animal control. Each season brings its own excitement, plenty, and grief; this project keeps me connected to nature and the natural rhythms and processes of The Berkshires.

I take commissions and work with flowers, ethically sourced insects, cremated ashes, pet fur/hair/whiskers/feathers, photographs, breast milk, glitter, dyes, and a variety of other things. I love making unique custom pieces for people, so don’t hesitate to reach out with your ideas, no matter how far out they may seem! I also preserve wedding and memorial bouquets, vend at local craft fairs, and offer studio visits if you wish to shop in person, To inquire about these services, contact me here.

Happy harvesting!
